Weekly Weight Loss Update: Today, I am down 1 pound from last Friday, 15 pounds overall!
This Week’s Biggest Challenge: Overwhelm. Hubs and I have a lot going on in our lives at home right now. My instinctual reaction when I start to feel overwhelmed is to just shut down. When too much is on my plate, my gut always tells me ignore the hard stuff. Knowing this about myself, I try to be very intentional about doing the big things first. I’ve been wanting to hit that snooze button so bad this week, but every day when my alarm goes off, I just take a deep breath, I get up and get to work. Sometimes that’s just how I have to approach things.
This Week’s Biggest Accomplishment: Finally taking steps to deal with my seasonal allergies once and for all! I’ve suffered from constant sneezing and stuffy noses in the spring and the fall for as long as I can remember. Allergy medicine always either just knocks me out or doesn’t do a darn thing for me, so I’ve spent years just suffering through the allergy season and doing my best to take control over my symptoms with natural remedies. Well, on Tuesday this week, I had an appointment with a local naturopathic practitioner to see if she had any advice. I now have a plan in motion that should kick those allergies to the curb for good, and I can’t wait to see the results.
