Today, I am up 2 pounds from last Friday, down 8 pounds overall, and focusing on non scale victories!
This Week’s Biggest Challenge & Non Scale Victories
Focusing on the fit of my clothing and other non scale victories, instead of the number on the scale. We went out with friends last Saturday. For the first time in a month, I indulged in one sugary drink and one grain-filled meal.
I thought that I would bloat up for a couple of days and then get right back to the progress I’ve been experiencing. But instead, it stuck with me all week.
It’s been difficult not to feel disappointed or angry with myself. I’ve had to remind myself a few times that I had fun and I enjoyed my meal, and I am not defined by the number on the scale.
This Week’s Biggest Accomplishment
Setting up my shopping page. For months, I’ve been considering the idea of putting together a collection of links to all my favorite items. These are all products that have helped me through my journey with health. The page is set up now and some of the links are available.
It’s a work-in-progress, but a huge bulk of the work just in set-up is complete. I am so excited to share it with you!
