I’ve spent a lot of time over the past several months talking about how I needed to “get back on track.” I did most of this talking from a sitting position. Okay, and I was probably eating a Christmas cookie . . . or five. It’s amazing what happens when you jump to action instead of just talking about it, and it’s so important to prioritize healthy habits.
I Really Am Back on Track and I Prioritize Healthy Habits
Rather than sleep as late as possible each day, I’m back to my old self, excited to wake up and start my day.
Instead of wishing myself back to fitness, I’m taking action and I prioritize healthy habits. I’m eating nourishing foods that make me feel good, and getting 30 minutes to an hour of exercise each day.
It’s All About the Attitude
I gave up the habit of thinking all day long about the reasons I’m not good enough and comparing myself to others. Now, I’m turning my thoughts to all the wonderful things about me and my talents and skills.
Yesterday, I slept a little later than I’d planned. Hubs, Bentley and I still took our morning walk. But, I didn’t have time for the strength session I’d planned on.
Instead of feeling bad about it all day, I just knocked it out as soon as I got home from work.
I still had time to tackle the rest of the projects I’d planned for the evening and I had time to relax with a great book! These are the types of things that happen when you prioritize healthy habits.
Working out is an important part my day. I lost track of that last year and I can see the results, just like I’ve seen the results of making it happen.
If it’s truly important, stop talking about it, just make it happen!
