2018

2018

“Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.” ~Abraham Lincoln

A new year has begun. With the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, I have taken the opportunities both to reflect and to look forward.

I set some big goals in 2017 with total confidence and somewhere during the year, I lost my focus and my drive. This year will be different. I have set some simple goals and I’m going back to the basics that I seem to have lost track of recently.

1. Slow down

Say “no” to more commitments, stay home more, stop allowing the smallest things to cause stress.

2. Return to 2016-level fitness

Eat well, exercise more.

3. Improve financial fitness

Pay down debts, save more.

Putting it All Together

My favorite part of my 2018 commitments are that they support each other. By slowing down, I will naturally have more time to dedicate to exercise and working on our budget.

Welcome to a new year.
