“People want honest, flavorful food, not some show-off meal that takes days to prepare.” ~Ted Allen
I’ve been getting my money’s worth out of the crockpot lately.
Cooking with a crockpot is like coming home to a meal cooked by your own personal chef.
Select a Recipe with Minimal Prep Work
There is just something to be said for throwing everything into a pot in the morning, then coming home to a hot, home-cooked meal all ready to go!
Invest in a Crockpot with a Timer
This was the best crockpot decision I ever made! When I leave the house in the morning, I set the temperature and the hours I want to cook, then the crockpot automatically turns to “Keep Warm” when it’s done.
Before, if I worked a long day or had errands to run after work, and had dinner going in the crockpot at home, I ran the risk of over-cooking my meal. Now, I always know I’m coming home to a perfectly-cooked dinner.
For an honest, flavorful meal that takes minutes to prepare . . . look no further!
Adapted from Mantitlement, these “Unstuffed” peppers give all the flavor and everything great about stuffed peppers, but with less work! Prepare in a crock pot and you may as well have ordered take out.
It’s easy, it’s yummy, it’s the ultimate weeknight meal.
