The Podcast that Changed my Relationship with Food

The Podcast that Changed my Relationship with Food

No food is “good” or “bad.” It’s just food. Some foods contain more nutrients, and some contain more flavor, but none should be associated with your self-confidence. It took a podcast to really sink this in for me, and I’m definitely still learning. Listening to the Well-Fed Women podcast has changed my relationship with food.

“Struggling with complicated recipes and long, exhausting workouts does nothing more than add more stress to your life.”

Noelle Tarr and Stefani Ruper
I’ve always been a well-fed woman, but the podcast changed my life.

They’re Relatable

I’m not gonna lie. The way these two talk, sometimes drives me up a wall, particularly when they say things like “all the things.”

But, guess what? I regularly say things that annoy me.

The people I love most annoy me all the damn time. It kind of caught my attention.

Because, when it really comes down to it, every time I listen to this podcast, I feel like I’m overhearing a conversation between two of my long-lost best friends. I don’t care that they say things that annoy me.

If you’re not annoying someone, you’re probably not entertaining anyone either.

Stefani and Noelle have been girls in a world where it’s really hard to be a girl. They’ve dealt with food decisions that shouldn’t be so hard, but for us they are.

They get it.

They’re Entertaining

I said it before. Listening to the banter between these two is like listening to your own best friends chatting.

It’s easy to listen to, easy to understand, easy to enjoy.

They’re Knowledgeable

Oh yeah, Noelle and Stefanie are freaking experts.

Noelle is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a Personal Trainer.

Stefanie has every food intolerance you can think of and is an aspiring philosopher.

Meanwhile, Noelle regularly brings on expert guests in the field of fitness and nutrition, specifically geared towards women. You know, because our bodies are different than men’s.

And they wrote an incredible book together, that reminds us all not to let stress or food take over our lives.

They’ll Make You Change Your Outlook

If you’ve never heard the Well-Fed Women podcast, it’s definitely worth a listen! I tune in every week, and even bought Stefanie and Noelle’s book, Coconuts and Kettlebells.

They both bring so much expertise and such a positive outlook to the landscape of food and nutrition, it really did change my life.
